3i (Chetan, Mohit and me) had an amazing lunch at Burma Burma on a weekend in December 2019 (the same day, when we had breakfast at Panshikar, Vile Parle). I wanted to visit the new Baklava place in Fort and therefore, we skipped dessert at Burma Burma and walked down to the swanky Hurrem's Turkish Baklava Confectionery. It had opened only a few days back and did not have any menu.
We just walked down to the counter and selected our platter of happiness. They had around 10 odd varieties of the baklava and a few more turkish delights.
We chose to stick to baklava since this was our first visit and we wanted to try various varieties. We also ordered some Turkish coffee and tea to go with the baklavas.
This was heaven! We had a full lunch and still, could not stop after gobbling up a platter of baklava. We had 2 more platters before our souls were satisfied. They also have a section that is dedicated to exclusive and exotic nuts and dry fruits that you may not find anywhere else in Mumbai.
Overall, an amazing place to spend some quality time with friends and believe me, you will return back to the place! When you are happy and want to treat your close friends OR when you are sad and want to indulge a bit, Hurrem's seems to be a perfect fit.
