We are blessed to have some amazing friends with whom, weekends are all the more fun! Ruby and Behram Aderbad introduced us to this wonderful Asian cuisine restaurant at Phoenix Mills, Lower Parel.
This place serves very delicious Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Thai & Vietnamese food. Shizusan gets bonus points for serving some very good Jain variations of the Asian dishes too.
We ordered three different dim sums and shared a platter - these were yummy steamed goodies and were just rightly spiced. The chili sauce tasted so nice with them!
My favorites were water chestnut & scallion and edamame, petit poise and truffle oil dim sums.
They also serve some nicely spiced chili celery chestnuts with burnt garlic flavors
Since we were almost full with the appetizers, we ordered some veg sticky rice to complete the meal. This rice went quite well on it's own with a bit of soy sauce.
But hey! A weekend meal isn't complete without a dessert so we ordered a few desserts and my favorite was the tender coconut cheesecake.
This is one place I quite liked and want to return back to sample more food with friends.
